Golf Depot LLC ("Golf Depot," "we," "us," or "our") operates golfdepotusa.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the advertising and analytics technologies we use, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you give us when you:

• Place an order (name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, payment information)
• Request a trade-in quote or submit a contact form (name, email, phone, descriptions and photos of your clubs)
• Subscribe to our emails or text us
• Create an account or leave a review

Information collected automatically when you visit the site: IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages and products viewed, referring website, the links and ads you clicked to reach us, and cookie or device identifiers. This is collected by Shopify's storefront infrastructure and by the analytics and advertising tools described below.

Payment Information

We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card number. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments (and, where offered, Shop Pay, PayPal or similar processors). Card data is encrypted and handled according to PCI-DSS standards by those processors under their own privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

• Process and fulfill orders, trade-ins and payouts, and send confirmations and shipping updates
• Respond to quote requests and customer service inquiries
• Send marketing emails or texts you have opted in to (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Measure how our website and advertising perform, and improve our listings, prices and site experience
• Show you relevant ads for Golf Depot on other websites and apps (see "Advertising and Analytics" below)
• Prevent fraud, protect our business, and comply with legal obligations

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies. They fall into three groups:

• Essential: required for the site to work: the shopping cart, checkout, account login, security and fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site (for example Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics). These tools collect information such as pages viewed, time on site and general location, and are governed by their providers' privacy policies.
• Advertising: used to measure our ads and to show you Golf Depot ads on other platforms, as described in the next section.

Advertising and Analytics Partners

We advertise, or may advertise, on platforms including Google (Google Ads, including YouTube and the Google Display Network) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To make that advertising work we use tools these platforms provide:

• Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and Google Analytics. These record that you visited our site, which products you looked at, and whether you purchased or requested a quote, so we can measure which ads work and show Golf Depot ads to people who have visited our site. Google may also use data from its own services in accordance with how Google uses information from partner sites.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API. These share similar website activity (pages viewed, items added to cart, purchases and quote requests) with Meta so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and reach people who have shown interest in our clubs. To match events to an advertising account, certain data such as your email address or phone number may be shared in a hashed (scrambled) form before it reaches Meta.
• We may use comparable tools from other advertising or affiliate platforms in the future; any such tool is covered by this section.

These partners may set their own cookies and identifiers and combine the information they receive from us with information they hold from other sources. Their handling of data is governed by their privacy policies (Google, Meta). We never share your payment card details with advertising partners.

Your Choices: Opting Out of Targeted Advertising

• On our site: use the cookie preferences control where it is offered, or send us a request at info@golfdepotusa.com with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line.
• Global Privacy Control: we treat a browser-level Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
• Google: Google Ads Settings and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Meta: Facebook Ad Preferences and the Instagram ad settings in your account.
• Industry opt-outs: Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative.
• Mobile devices: use the "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) settings.

Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads; it means the ads you see will be less tailored to you. Opt-outs are cookie-based, so you may need to repeat them if you clear cookies or use another browser or device.

How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that power the store and fulfill orders: Shopify (storefront, checkout, payments, email), payment processors, shipping carriers such as UPS and USPS, email and SMS providers, and customer-support tools. They receive only what is necessary to perform their services.
• Advertising and analytics partners as described above. Under some state privacy laws, sharing browsing and purchase activity with advertising platforms for targeted advertising counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information even though no money changes hands; you can opt out as described under "Your Choices."
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Golf Depot, our customers or others.
• Business transfers: if Golf Depot is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share customer lists with third parties for their own marketing.

Email and Text Marketing

We send marketing emails only to people who subscribe or make a purchase, and marketing texts only with your express consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Transactional messages about your order or trade-in are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

Data Retention

We keep order, trade-in and customer records for as long as needed to fulfill our legal and business obligations, including tax records and dispute resolution. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings and policies of the relevant platform. You may request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements) at info@golfdepotusa.com.

Your Privacy Rights (California and Other States)

If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. Depending on your state you may:

• Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and whom we share it with
• Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. See "Your Choices" above
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for anything other than providing our services.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in "Information We Collect," used them for the purposes in "How We Use Your Information," and disclosed them to the parties in "How We Share Information." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

We will verify your identity by matching the details you provide against our records, respond within 45 days, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Third-Party Links

Our website may link to other sites, including marketplaces where we also sell (such as eBay) and the advertising platforms named above. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our site uses SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we add new advertising or analytics tools. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
