Our Condition Guide
Every club we sell is rated using our 5-tier condition system. We inspect each club carefully and grade it honestly, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy. If you ever have questions about a specific listing, just ask us.
New
Never Hit
Brand new, never been struck
These clubs have never seen a round of golf. May or may not have original packaging. Face, sole, and shaft are in perfect, unplayed condition.
Excellent
Near Mint
Minimal play, barely noticeable marks
These clubs have seen very light use. You may find faint marks on the sole or crown that are only visible under close inspection. Looks nearly new and performs like new.
Very Good
Light Wear
Light play marks from regular rounds
Shows light cosmetic wear consistent with a handful of rounds. Small scuffs or marks on the crown and sole are visible but not distracting. Performs excellently.
Good
Normal Use
Visible wear, fully functional
Shows the cosmetic signs of regular play: scuffs, dings, or sole wear. Fully functional and plays great. This is where most pre-owned clubs fall.
Value
Heavy Wear
Heavily used but fully playable
Noticeable wear, paint chips, sky marks, or bag chatter may be present. These clubs still perform well on the course, they just show their history. Best price point for budget golfers.
Trade-In Grading: When selling or trading in clubs, we use a simplified 3-tier system (New, Good, Value) for pricing. Our trade-in valuator prices are built to maximize value for Regular, Stiff, and Extra Stiff flex shafts. Ladies and Senior flex may receive a lower offer. All trade-in offers are valid for 7 days.
