We price trade-ins from live resale data so our first number is already high. If someone still beats it, send us the proof and we close the gap.

If you receive a higher written trade-in offer from another verified golf retailer within 7 days of your Golf Depot quote, we will match it. That includes the retailers golfers compare us to most: 2nd Swing, GlobalGolf, Callaway Pre-Owned and the PGA Value Guide.

Same club. Same condition. We match the number.

Here is what "verified" means to us:

  • The offer comes from an established golf retailer or trade-in program, not a private buyer, forum post or auction listing.
  • It is in writing: a screenshot, an email or a printed quote that shows the retailer, the club, the condition grade and the amount.
  • It is for the same club in the same configuration and condition you quoted with us, including shaft, flex and set makeup for irons.
  • It is dated within the 7 days your Golf Depot offer is valid.

Matches are confirmed within one business day and paid exactly like any other trade-in: Zelle, Venmo or PayPal within 24 hours of the club passing inspection. There are no fees and no minimums.

All trade-in offers, matched or not, are valid for 7 days and confirmed at inspection. If a club arrives in a different condition than quoted we contact you with a revised offer before doing anything. This guarantee applies to trade-in offers only; our retail prices are already benchmarked below market and are not price-matched.

    Fill in the "Price match" field on the trade-in form with the retailer and amount, then attach or reply with the proof.

    We match and pay
    We confirm the matched offer within one business day. Ship free, or we pick up in San Diego, and get paid within 24 hours of inspection.

Which retailers count?

Any established golf retailer or trade-in program that issues written offers: 2nd Swing, GlobalGolf, Callaway Pre-Owned, the PGA Value Guide and similar. Private buyers, marketplace listings and auction results do not count, because they are not offers to buy your club.

Does the 7-day window start from my quote or theirs?

From your Golf Depot quote. Your offer is valid for 7 days, and the competing offer needs to be dated inside that same window. After 7 days, simply get a fresh quote from us and start again.

What if the other retailer graded my club differently?

We match like for like. If their offer is for an "Excellent" club and ours was quoted as "Good", we will confirm the grade at inspection and match against the grade the club actually is.

Do you price-match clubs I am buying from you?

No. This guarantee covers trade-in offers. Our retail prices are already benchmarked against real pre-owned sale prices, which is why they sit below market to begin with.

How is a matched trade-in paid?

Exactly like any other trade-in: Zelle, Venmo or PayPal within 24 hours of the club passing inspection, or a refund to your original payment method if the trade is tied to a purchase.
